Tree Planting & Consultation
Planting the right tree in the right place, plus on-site assessments and straight advice from a certified arborist.
Most tree problems we get called out to start the day the tree goes in the ground. The wrong species for the soil, planted too deep, too close to the house, or staked and forgotten. Getting those choices right at the start saves you years of trouble and expense.
We help you choose species suited to Chatham-Kent conditions, plant them properly, and set them up for strong long-term structure. If you’d rather just have someone look at what you already have and tell you honestly what it needs, that’s what an assessment is for.

The detail
Right tree, right place
Before anything goes in the ground we look at the space above and below it: overhead wires, the foundation and services underground, how much sun the spot gets, how wet the soil stays, and how big the tree will actually be in thirty years. A species that thrives on one property can be a slow-motion problem on the one next door.
Planting it properly
The single most common planting mistake is depth. A tree planted with its root flare buried will struggle for years and often dies young. We plant so the root flare sits at grade, break up circling roots from the pot, backfill with native soil rather than a rich mix that discourages roots from spreading, and mulch in a wide ring without piling it against the trunk.
Assessments and advice
Not every visit ends in a quote for work. Sometimes the useful answer is that a tree is fine, that it can wait a season, or that the right move is a small pruning job rather than a removal. You get a clear picture of what you have, what it needs, and what it will cost, in writing.
