Local tree-care considerations in Ridgetown

• Heritage shade treesOlder town trees, oaks and maples among them, need careful pruning to preserve them for the long term.
• Rural acreage treesLarge yard and lane trees on surrounding farms call for proper rigging and a careful, sectional takedown, with crane assistance when the job warrants it.
• Ash removals (Emerald Ash Borer)As elsewhere in Chatham-Kent, Emerald Ash Borer has left standing dead ash that should be removed before they fail.
